The Ride

The Ride

Fan art for "The Ride" published by Image Comics. This illustration was done for my Environments, Props, and Structures class at SCAD.

I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, and I got a few recommendations on things I can add or change before I ink it. Sweet!

Enjoy!

Studio Space Illustration

First piece from my Environments, Props and Structures class. Its a line drawing of my studio space.

I used a lightbox to blow up a thumbnail on which I had worked out the perspective. This is the first time that I have used that process, and I think it was pretty successful! I don't know that I'll need to use it for everything I ever do, but I'm pleased with the end result.

This new quarter will be pretty intense, but I'm confident that I'll get through it with enough hard work and good effort put into the projects!

Enjoy! I'll continue to update with new projects as they're finished!

The Madness of Phantom Hitler

I have exciting news! There are talks in the work for a dark comedy/ alternate reality sci-fi comic for me to work on.

I have a fun piece of concept art to share with you!

This is Phantom Hitler and his Fuhrerstein. With the power of his mighty Hitler monster and Nazi treasure, Phantom Hitler will be the Villian of this book.

I'm looking forward to working on this project over the next few months as well as school!

Classes start on Monday! I'm pumped!

D&D Inkworks

I've been known to participate in the classic tabletop role-playing game from time to time, and when my friend asked me to draw the main characters from his campaign, I was happy to do it.

His main character Triskal is a paladin whose face has been infected with spellplague, which means that he has evil spirits living within his face and causing him constant agony.

Below him is Gargamesh the Dragonborn Swordmage, Iya the Drow Rogue, and Ashelia the Elven Ranger.

I am hoping to have this piece coloring by a great colorist I know sometime in the next week or so, but this blog is the only place you'll see the inks!
