Al the Killer

Felt like doing a little art for one of my favorite bands, Coheed and Cambria.

My interpretation of Al the Killer, from the Amory Wars.

I just looked up what he looks like in the comic, and this is totally different, but I like it myself!

Iron Man and HeroesCon

Fun little Iron Man sketch I did the other night!

I'm heading to HeroesCon this weekend June 22-24th! Come and visit me! I'll be at the SCAD booth 615/617 at different times throughout the day, as well as wandering the floor and checking out cool art!

Hope to see you there! I'll have original art for sale for those interested, as well as sketches. I'll also be working on some upcoming projects while I'm there so be excited to see some never before seen works!

Another drawing done for my inking class!

I took this as an opportunity to do a concept art cover for a story I'm developing right now!

Enjoy!

The Fountain - Illustration

Ink study of Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain movie poster.

Did this for my advanced inking class.  I really like this poster, it has alot of cool stuff going on visually, and I thought it would be a great challenge to try and translate this into black and white and line.

Ghetto Illustration

Ink Drawing done for my inking class at SCAD.

I have a sad little story about this drawing. I left the original of this image in the scanner at Wallin Hall about two and a half hours before the building closed. I didn't realize until the next morning, and went over immediately, and the drawing was gone. People leave drawings lying around that building all the time, so I know it was probably stolen. I asked around the hall and none of the professors or administrators had seen it, nor had it been turned in.

Sad.

If anyone ever sees the original of this image or an unauthorized copy of it, please email me and let me know at erykdonovan@yahoo.com

Regardless, I'm glad I have the image that I can still share with everyone!
