Yes, yes, the weekly update. I don't really intend for this to be a weekly only update, but it seems that so far that is what is happening. I'll just go with the flow.
I did a drawing I am pretty pleased with this weekend. I decided that I wanted to do an Ink drawing that took me more that an hour, so I ended up spending about 4 on it. Interested in taking a look, the drawing is here.
I was complaining a little this weekend about the lack of good sketchbooks. I don't mind a Canson hardbound for some pencil and pen drawings, but bring a brush and inkwell in, not to mention watercolor and you can forget it. I have a Holbein sketchbook just sitting on my floor, I think I will begin to draw in that for awhile. Its good hefty paper, keeps together nicely, and I won't have to consolidate any pieces!
